On Saturday, October 20th at 7:00 p.m. FFRF and AFS invite you to view a documentary called “Merchants of Doubt.” This film is about how mega-corporations pay scientists to create a campaign of misinformation/disinformation and doubt about important scientific issues. They then, in collusion with industry lobbyists and politicians, use this campaign to obstruct needed regulations, public policy, and laws to protect our citizens. The film starts with the tobacco industry & concludes with climate change denial. We will then follow with a discussion on the subject.
FFRF will provide coffee & soft drinks. Please bring snacks (chips & dip, cookies, appetizers) and your favorite beverage.
